Is there anything on the market for Triton to expand my bass sounds(patches) collection?

"anything"?

Outboard gear, 3rd party sounds, EXB boards...

What are you looking for?

By the numbers:

You could slave up some outboard module that would play bass, using the EXT osc of combis. Some of the simplest older (cheap!) gear like the Yamaha FB-01 can give you cool results -- the 4-op synthesis is great for "house"-type organ and sine bass. You might be able to find an Alesis midi-Bass which was a dedicated bass-only slave module. Likewise - and at the other end of the spectrum - you could spend a grand or more for the latest kit from Yama-Rola-Korg, Moog, Access, or others for module-synths which will have the entire sound palate PLUS basses.

There are a lot of 3rd party sounds posted at this site... you should take the time to weed through them -- a decent librarian will speed the process, especially if it can sort by voice type. You can build a PCG of just bass voices and figure out what you like and what's useful to you. Also, many lead sounds are suitable for bass if played in the right octave and tweaked a little.

You're posting under Classic - both the Classic Synth and Trance Attack EXB's would give you a bunch of new synth waveforms to work with. With or without an EXB expansion, you can drop a new waveform into an existing bass program and get a new timbre.

'Zat help?

In cases where you have similar architectures (which in this case are very similar in approach being same maker and only one generation apart) the best method would be to copy as many of the parameters as possible. In many cases the parameter pages will be nearly identical. Pay particular attention to things like the amp and filter sections and use similar settings on EQ and insert FX -- the results should be very close.
