|
|
Dear synth addicts;
I am using since some days iElectribe which is a real cool machine, but still I have not understood how to make a full soung with it.
I am so far able to make a 4 pattern lenght beat pattern, but I have not understood how to make a full 3min (e.g.) sequence of patterns.
Can anybody help me out?
Thanks |

Yes! Check out "song mode" -- that's how you string patterns together to make a complete song.
It's on page 65 in the owner's manual:
http://www.korg.com/uploads/Support/EMX1_Manual_633660067695790000.pdf
(This is the manual for the EMX-1, but it also works the same with the ESX-1.) _________________ "It was really like jewelry work, working precisely." -- Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo |

He is talking about the "i"-Electribe. (Or at least I think he is) It does things a little differently. See this forum thread for more info:

Thanks hazabikit, burt indeed I am referring to iElectribe, so the ipad version where song mode button is (apparently) missing.
Dear Telengard,
I saw that post already and what the guy said is
"It's possible to string patterns together on iElectribe. Just touch the 'pattern set' button then assign patterns to each step by touching a step, then selecting a pattern from a song. Then all you do is touch different steps to play different assigned patterns."
What I am looking for is the next step, so letting the iElectribe play (and record) the sequence of patterns.
Any idea? |

I'm afraid there is no way to do that. The only way to string them together is to select different patterns real time as someone said. |

Dears;
Only option i have found (other than string pattern together and record a live performance) is to combine ielectribe with a multitrack kind of app which supports audiocopy.
Then just bounce the loops and copy/paste in multitrack
Is working just now, is not ideal but still..
