|
|
Hi all,
The title pretty much says it all. I bought a KP3 rather than a DJM 800 because I thought that the KP3 would be a bit more fun and ultimately have more functionality.
However, I have my next DJ gig on Friday, I want to use the KP3, and I am wading through 100's of different fx settings.
So, I thought I'd ask, to all those DJ's out there using the KP3 as their fx unit, what are the handful of settings you find most useful for DJing?
Thanks in advance,
Ed |

Why not check out the program list (if you dont have it or the manual, look on Korg.com)? It lists everything and keeps programs grouped based on effect (delays in one section, modulation,e tc)
Some really good ones:
Mod4 DigiTalk
Md11 Decimator
Slicers
DLy2 Smooth Delay
Dl13 Delay n Reverb
Grain Shifters
Loopers
I guess it depends on what you're doing...
Also, you can combine effects if you resample....in effect you can overdub and chain effects together...experiment! |

Ah, excellent - just found the program list! Thanks for that. And I will try out the ones you suggested.
Overdubbing? This machine is gonna eat away my time in a good way |

Just so you know, I'm extremely interested in the thread you started, and have returned to it numerous times. I am still selecting my chosen 8, but will be posting them soon |
