|
|
Hi all!
Since this forum seems to be poorly monitored, and viable and valid questions has been around for years without anyone interested, one can start to wonder if other forums are more "attractive". Nevertheless...
1. Has anyone of you noticed, that when connected to ANY PC/MAC via USB cable the PX5D turns much more noisy in interference noise, than when powered by its own, on either batteries or regular power supply?
2. I am thinking of buying an USB adapter to power it up, insted of the optional power supply which costs a fortune. BUT! Not if the interference or noise is the same as with USB cable connected to any computer! Does anybody knows if such adapters works or not? I can't tell if they're supposed to working or not.
They're usually at 5V but PX5D scales it down to 4.5 V it seems.

I haven't noticed that when I have connected my PX5D to my PC via USB cable, I haven't used my PX5D that much really so I'm not really sure.
A pretty off-topic question but are you from Sweden? _________________ User of Korg PX5D |

Yes I am. But don't start talking in any native language around here. PM me instead. If that's what you want. |

FWIW I've tried (borrowed by friends) these generic USB adapter wall warts, now, that can charge cell phones and whatver, but they didn't work at all. It seems that the current goes at another wire into the PX5-D.
Peculiar thing, that it works only through computers USB. |
