One of the projects i'm working with is a Doors tribute band. I've been using my M3 mostly for the bass however it's been difficult to isolate the keyboard for mixing and playing live because I use different bass sounds for different songs, with occasional splits. This sometimes causes volume issues depending on the room we're playing in. Bottom line, i've been advised that I should get a separate module for just the bass sounds and put it in it's own channel Crying or Very sad

So my first question is do you have any suggestions for any modules (past or present, and economical would be preferred) that has a good variety of bass sounds?

My second question....

I have 3 keyboards: Yamaha is my controller, Korg is my second, Hammond is my third. As I said, I'm playing the bass thru the Korg so I would like to continue using that keyboard to play the bass on. Is there anyway to midi this module so it only plays thru that (Korg) rather than the controller (Yamaha)?

If you're working out of your own combis, have you thought about routing the bass to one of the alternate outputs?

If you're working out of your own combis then you should also be able to put the work in to ensure that your bass sounds all come out at roughly the same level.

I hadn't thought of that. So I can plug that output into my amp and have volume control of that combi sound? That would solve my problem! Wink
