Hi Guys and Gals

I am over here too after a long hiatus. I love seeing all this activity since I just got my Micro and eager to learn more.

Hi Bernie,
Welcome the Korg microARRANGER club.
How do you like it so far?
I'm really enjoying mine alot and appreciate
Korg's signature sound (punchier than Yamaha arrangers)
and imo ideally suited for live gigging and emulating a live sounding combo.
I find it well worth the micro key size tradeoff to benefit its ultra lightweight portability,
opening up the opportunity to so conveniently take it
places I'd not take my much larger and heavier rig.

My only complaint is the kb's lack of the "fill to self" variation button that my YamahanTyros 4, the Yamaha S910, and the Korg Pa3x have.
In addition, a few of the styles fills don't always sync quite right when engaging the fill buttons.
Aside from that, I think the microARRANGER's a terrific keyboard, especially for the < $499 price. -Scott. Cool

Hi Scott

I agree with everything you say about this terrific way of getting into the Korg family without breaking the bank. I have much to learn about the Korg OS, however.
I have loaded John Smies' resources and find them great for the most part. They are unique and a nice departure from the plain vanilla styles found in many factory styles.

I have my KMA midi'd to my Nord Electro2, and people love the combination.

The only problem is trying to figure out how to save additional performances to an SD card for live play. The "Direct SD" method refers to "Styles". My user and other perf banks are full.

Hi,
I`ve got to get my micro arranger probably a at the end of the week. Smile

The fact that you can play styles straight from the SD was the reason for me to add this Keyboard to my Pa 3xMusikant.
Instead of a using a songbook it should be possible to work out a style
in a user-bank,set the 4 sts and then to transfer it to the SD card.
I hope the 4 sts will transfer with the complete Style to the SD card.
This really would be great.
Let us know, how you get on.
Thanks the lot
Smile
