Question About Programming

Post by HandMeDownKorg »

I've noticed that quite a few of the patches on the microKORG don't allow chording, but only single notes. I cannot find the right thing to edit to allow chords. Help me!

Its been set to monophonic, if you want to play chords you need to set it
to polyphonic. switch edit knob 1 to voice (big knob 1) & then knob 3
has non, ply, uni, select ply.

You may also need to lower the volume of either the overall synth or the individual oscillators (Edit 1->mixer->knobs 1 and 2) to make sure it doesn't clip.

I never get clipping when I use the MK, all you need to do is make sure you don't turn the main volume knob above 80% and make sure your external amp/monitors aren't overdriving.

Which is always a problem for me... Well, unless I use actual monitors :)
