| Pardon my ignorance on the details - I stumbled here while doing a KLM search for parts and didn't get a chance to read all the posts - is the classic or extreme the one w/ the problem? |

| Posted a reply, but it doesn't seem to be showing up - i any case, regarding this problem: - I asked if the problem piece was your classic or extreme - I've got a number of screens, most of the classics are known quantities (smashed/scratched screens, non-responsive touchfilm, etc.) which can be ripped for parts, the extreme screens are less sure because I can't find my good MB's for them yet, but probably work, spares on them also, I'm sure I have good ones and others that can be dismantled for parts - so if you decide to buy parts let me know, I'll see if I can find a non-volatile way to get them to you at a much better price than anyone else. |

If anyone having problems just with LAMP and displej is working, but without background light, there is simple temporary solution.
Just turn ur keyboard on, and u only need ur cellphone with flash. Only thing u have to do is to flash ur display from 20-30cm and lamp will inmidiately turn on. Stupid but working
I tryed this few times and always workinhg, without this, i have to wait background light more than 15 minutes. _________________ ____________________________________

other solution is to take out CCFL lamp and put 9 SMD-s and tie on inverter for ccfl lamp and it will light more better than factory light. And its cheep. _________________ ____________________________________
