|

I tried on Yahoo answers and got no results, so I thought I'd try here.

^This is the song I'm learning.
I'm more piano-oriented and I'm relatively new to the synth world, so of course finding the right sounding patches is very frustrating for me. As the title says, I'm using a MicroKORG synth. I already have a good patch for the bass part, the one I have for the melody (A14 normal preset) could use some work or a complete redo, and I'm gonna have to build the patch for the solo from scratch. I've tried over and over and can't get it right, and I was hoping someone here with experience in synths could give me a push in the right direction. Even if you don't have a MicroKORG specifically, I have a diagram of the settings that should help you give me a general idea of what to go off of:

I already have the song down to perfection, I just can't get it to sound right. Thanks in advance! |
I've been able to get sort of close, but I'm just really, really terrible at programming patches xD
The 'melody' part for that songs starts at :29 and the solo at :56. I'm in a college pep band and we're supposed to be playing this at the next basketball game. |
