do you mind giving the info of where you bought the extra Ram from?
they should have sent you the installation details.

I will recommend that you should let a professional do it!
If you do it by your self the Damaging of your keyboard is 95%. and If you are a professional then you have to remove the screws and unplug the wires and then open the metal-box and the RAM is installed inside of that box.
but there are so many wires and screws that you have to remove and if you replace or misplace any of them then you are in a big trouble!
Since you are doing it with your own risk.
some parts of the keyboard are easy damageable.
If I were you I would either send it to a music workshop or returned the Ram and got my money back.

Regards

PA2XPro RAM replacement is very very easy to do.

My advice is to follow the instructions in the PA2XPro User Guide (they are very clear and easy to follow) and use an anti static strap when handling the memory boards.

Cheers

Pete Very Happy

Hey Pete,
Sorry I thought this post was about Pa800, Although I don't have a Pa2x So you might be right.
My post was about replacing the RAM on a Pa800.

Regards
