There's part of your answer there. The i30 was designated an Arranger Workstation, a 'hybrid', if you will. I tend to look at all Korg arrangers in this way. Anyway, rather than deal in semantics, just ask yourself if the Micro will do what you want it to do. That's the bottom line. _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

A couple of basic questions. I'd be surprised if the MicroArranger can't do these things, but I just want to be sure:
1. Can I feed it chords and melody via a DAW-based sequencer such as Sonar?
2. Can I record the MIDI data generated by the MicroArranger into Sonar so that I can use sounds generated by other keyboards rather than the MA's sounds, and for maximum flexibility? I'm assuming here that the MA uses MIDI internally to trigger the sounds, and that the MIDI data can be sent to an external sequencer.
