There seems to be a cascade of events depending on what comes first, and we're prevented to go back. I don't understand the logic behind it. |
Not sure. As far as switching "Selected tracks" back and forth, it didnt seem to corrupt anything on mine. Dont know why. Although I havent saved it, turned the Kronos off and reloaded it or anything. I think for keyboard splits in my situation with external gear, looks like only COMBI mode is gonna work.
The thing that settles my nerves a bit is the problem is exactly the same on my Triton Le so its doesnt seem to be a problem specifically to the Kronos. More or less a sequencer design flaw so to speak. _________________ Korg Kronos-61, Korg Triton Le-61, Korg R-3, Alesis Vortex, Edirol PCR-M80, Yamaha Motif XF-61, Roland JV-1080, Roland D-5, E-MU Classic Keys, Kawai Q-80 Sequencer, iPad Pro 9.7, Roland A-49 |

-If you set up the events in the wrong order, it will not work and that song patch will sorta be corrupt and it will never work. You have to set up your remote device first on a remote track (other than the first).
-Once it works, if you go around playing with midi channels, even if you come back to your origninal setting, it will not work again. It sorta becomes corrupt.
In both instances, you have to select a brand new Init song patch and restart from scatch.
I know, it weird, but that is the only way I got it to work! |
I'm wondering if after you play around with the tracks, if you press locate, it will bring it back in order? _________________ Korg Kronos-61, Korg Triton Le-61, Korg R-3, Alesis Vortex, Edirol PCR-M80, Yamaha Motif XF-61, Roland JV-1080, Roland D-5, E-MU Classic Keys, Kawai Q-80 Sequencer, iPad Pro 9.7, Roland A-49 |

Me neither. Just wanted to point out that I have no need to use it. |
