Hello everyone,
I recently purchased my first ever arranger keyboard, and since I had been waiting a long time to treat myself, I decided to go with the pa3x. It's an amazing machine!!!!
I have read MANY helpful threads here and I aspire to being able to contribute answers myself one day. In the meantime, there is one question that I haven't been able to find an answer to...
Is there a way to make one of the elements of a style the default one that is triggered anytime the style is launched? I have downloaded some styles and begun to modify them, but it seems that whenever I select a style for playing it always begins playing Intro1 followed by Variation1 if they exist... What if I don't want intro1 to play at all and I want the arranger to start with variation2 instead? Or Intro3 for that matter?
Regards,
Kleo |

Hi Kleo,
It is quite easy. Just set your style up the way you want it to start.
For example: Intro 3, Variation 4 , Pads as well.
Then open the tab in the display right at the top.
Just mark: "Write currant Style Settings" and confirm.
Good Luck and keep enjoying the Pa3x |

Hi Capricorn,
I wanted to log back in and thank you earlier, unfortunately work kept me away from my keyboard for most of the month of February...
With your help I have setup up some new styles to start with whichever style element I want. The next difficulty I am having is saving accompaniment track volumes differently in different variations. For example, whenever I switch to variation 2, I would like accompaniment tracks 2 and 3 to be muted, and when I go back to variation 1, I want them to be heard. It seems that when I set up the accomp track volumes the way I want and them save the style settings, the accomp track volumes stay the same across different variations...

Hi Kleo,
As far as I know, it is not possible to change the accompaniment track volumes just for one or two variations.
But you can mute the accomp tracks in different variations.
To do this, you will have to go into RECORD,
then mark EDIT/RECORD CURRANT STYLE, choose the variation you want to have changed ( for example var 1 )
and the track (for example acc 3 )
After you have marked these items, open the tab at the top of your display and DELETE CURRANT TRACK.
Now after you have done this, just exit from Record with the usual procedure.
When you play your style now, you will find that track(acc) 3 is playing in all variations except for var.1.
Before doing all this, I found it very useful to save the original style at another place, just in case something should go wrong.
I hope this will help you
