If you have backed up your keybaord with full resource backup or saved your earlier set (ticking all options) then you can safely delete all your multisamples.
Go to Sound Mode, Record, Menu, Delete all multisamples. Exit, Yes.
Now load the new set simply by selecting Disk, Load, select the set, Load.
All the best,

hi John i finally managed to grab an hour with your new piano work. I can tell you spent some time with these . I downloaded the 16 sound piano set. I have the Xprodata piano module and i have to say that i am still very much bowled over by them so read my comments in the light of this !
The euro grand is a nice bright and crisp sound . Its has nice body and doesnt get thin and brittle at the higher end of the keboard like Korgs stock pianos do.
The Bright Euro RX is reallly nice and although i would not use it in a solo situation it plays very well in the mix especially to up temp contemporary dance/pop music . I am really surprsied that i did not have any trouble with note drop out because ususally when a sound has the RX letters at the end you know its going to eat notes but there is obviously some clever stuff going on behind the scenes as i did not have any trouble with polyphony at all.
To my ears the New piano RX and 2RX were too similar . I know that the new piano2RX had more brightness and sounded as though it were like a pop piano you know the one that has an electric piano layered in but almost unoticeable. Very hard to describe but well crafted .
I played for the choir yesterday and one of the songs gets quite busy with losts of strings using full piano in arranger mode and i was really suprised how the your bright pianos cut through !! Well done John and once again thank you for sharing your work and continuing to support the fabulous PA1X .
Take a not people that this instrument is very stable unlike its big brother ..... |

Hi Worth,
Thanks very much for your comments. I'm glad you like some of the pianos.
My personel favourite is the LiveGrand Touch which has darker earthy sound. The stereo sounds only use the standard 2 oscillators at a time up to middle C and 4 beyond that. (The monos even less). If you want to limit polyphony use even further its a simple matter of changing the note range on Oscillators 13 and 14 (the RX pedal down resonance) to a higher value. (Sound Mode, Menu, Basic, Change Bottom Key Range to a higher note eg A4).
The New Grand2RX is basically playing the Grand a tone lower and then re-tunes its back up to give a slightly darker muted sound (a lot like a Roland piano sound.)
I think there is a lot of life left in the old 1X - Let me know when the Pa5x is released and we might buy one each!
All the best,
