|
|
| I'm using Sonar X1 and would like to trigger the drum track button from the external sequencer and have it match the tempo of the daw. Ive been doing it manually and dialing in the matching tempos but im hoping there is an easier solution. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate the help. |

For synchonization between M50 and DAW - please find in Global mode page P1: MIDI and set MIDI Clock in appropriate way. In common case, option AUTO should suit you needs.
As for trigering drum track there is no dedicated CC#.
You can
a) sent from DAW sysexes as presented below, or
b) assign DrumOnOff to FootSwitch (CC#82) on page Global P2: Controllers and sent CC#82 with value 127 or 0 .
Misunderstood in which mode you are playing so here are all types:
SEQ mode Drums On F0 42 30 00 01 05 41 04 00 0A 00 0A 00 00 00 00 01 F7
SEQ mode Drums Off F0 42 30 00 01 05 41 04 00 0A 00 0A 00 00 00 00 00 F7
CombiMode Drums On F0 42 30 00 01 05 41 00 00 0B 00 0A 00 00 00 00 01 F7
CombiMode Drums Off F0 42 30 00 01 05 41 00 00 0B 00 0A 00 00 00 00 00 F7
ProgMode Drums On F0 42 30 00 01 05 41 02 00 0B 00 0A 00 00 00 00 01 F7
ProgMode Drums Off F0 42 30 00 01 05 41 02 00 0B 00 0A 00 00 00 00 00 F7
