I happen to agree with you, but I guess it's good that different companies do it different ways so we can all be happy. For me, it's not just a matter of wanting an extra couple of keys on bottom, it's that I also don't really care to have the extra keys on top! I play a lot of organ, and organs always top off at the high C, and there are so many song where you just want to palm-smear all the way up to the high C, it's such a trademark Hammond thing to do... and when there are extra keys up there, you can't do it without worrying about over-shooting. |
