Today , while I was checking the SD card connector points
on the underside of the mainboard ,
I discovered this :

A row of small switches.
They were hidden under black adhesive tape ,
like the trigger connector in the rim and also the sd card holder.
(all the interesting things seem to be hidden under adhesive tape.)

I was curious and started experimenting with the switch combinations Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
Certain combis seemed to have no effect , one combi froze my WD,

And now it comes :
With a certain combination of the switches I found , that my Usersoundbank had doubled up to 200 sounds.CRAZY !!
I dont know how this works ,but I dont care.
seems a certain feature in the “BIOS” chip has been switched free.
The sounds are not new ones but again the same 100 user sounds .
DOUBLE USER SPACE….. WOW
now I tried to install a copy of the Oriental Dataset
and what happened ??? SUXXESZ
does somebody know , where I can get the red paint for my rim ?

as usual: Somebody out there + interested ?

This is very interesting.

I'm not sure if it's just me but that image you included doesn't load. Do you have another pic?

Your are the winner Waterdrum !!, after i read you i decide to dissassemble again my unit and i just saw this switch on my unit too, never i see this hidden switch before, i try your tip and trick and in my WD i have 300 preset now !!!, probably because i have a oriental modele, it's wonderfull !

i comfirm, it's the same soundbank but with more slot preset, not news sound but more preset i never expect.

i'm so glad waterdrum, thank you for this very important discovery and thank you again for sharing that Wink

hello springvloed and all
of course this was an April fools day joke Laughing
probably a bit too easy ,
but NOT posted too early ,
(16 min after midnight in Bavarian summertime).
wishful thinking to double the sounds... with the flick of a switch
still its a little bit more effort.
But : there is more than one grain of truth included in this thread
so guess , if it is
--the access to 200 user editable sounds
--or the silver/ori transformation

so long
