Yes, my tempo potentiometer seems to have become a glitchy mess, resulting in any patch that uses a BPM-sync based delay or LFO to become a glitchy dissonant mess. My third edit knob seems to be going as well. Both knobs won't consistently stay at a value.
For the temporary, I'm focusing on creating patches that aren't BPM sync'd (and quite honestly, arrhythmically timed delays can be quite fun to add some lively swing to a patch) and I know I can set it as a tempo slave.
What should I pick up to try my hand at cleaning the pots? I don't believe I ever had a warranty (I purchased the R3 used) but if I did, it's long gone- so I'm not afraid to open it up.
Any suggestions on precautions or procedures I should follow?
Thanks! _________________ Korg R3 | Korg iMS-20 | Korg iElectribe | Roland Gaia SH-01 | Moog Slim Phatty | NI Maschine Mikro | NI Razor | Logic Pro 9
