I can't get my Kronos to see my korg Nano Kontrol.
I though that would be a no brainer, but no joy _________________ Kronos 61

Nano Kontrol should work. Make sure that it's sending on the appropriate MIDI channel. _________________ Dan Phillips

As noted in the KRONOS manuals, there are no controls specific to USB MIDI devices. They will work just like MIDI devices. If it doesn't work, it's either broken or not configured properly. Make sure that the CCs and MIDI channel of the NanoKontrol are set up to match whatever you're looking for on the KRONOS.

Update Dan was right!! As usual!! I was using a template from the Receptor with higher midi channel assignments.
Korg NanoKontrol works perfect with Kronos _________________ Kronos 61

|
|
Today I recieved the Axiom and I could compare it to the Novation Impuls I bought wednesday. The Axiom works great just with one USB cable. The midi works fine, and also the pads are automaticly maped to drums.
So I can now state for shure that the Novation Impuls is not fully class compliant and works not thru the usb port with the Kronos. Despite the fact that the manual says it is class compliant. Naturaly you can use it with the midi ports.
Also I think the Axiom has a more natural feel when you play it. I like the keys better.
So the Impuls is getting back to the shop and I keep the Axiom. _________________ Kronos88, M-audio Axiom 61
