I found i could drag & drop wav files onto the keys of the editor but it was a bit hit & miss at first. I found the best way was to use C3 as the 'home' key then drag & drop from C3 to the top of the keyboard, filling it up from R to L.
I did all the white notes first, followed by the black notes for simplicity. I saved after each key so I could reload from the saved 'bank file if I made an error. The main 'trick' is to ensure you select/highlight the C3 key at the end of each drop to the upper keys, ready to accept the next drag & drop from a folder or search box window.
I did further editing for level, normalization, pitch and release in the MS as it's easier and quicker to 'key' the samples and hear the results. |
