|
|
Hey there,
I just got a brand-new all-black SV-1 88 a couple of days ago.
One thing I noticed is that when selecting the Vox Wah in the Pre-Effects Section, the Intensity Value only skips to either 0 or 10 when rotating the Intensity knob.
Is this how this parameter is ment to function? Or is it some kind of fault?
All other effects etc. seem to use the full range 0-10 of the Intensity Knob, so it's just when the Vox Wah is selected that it behaves this way.
I am not using a pedal to control the wah, and pressing the Auto/Pedal button doesn't change the result. I also updated the SV-1 to OS v1.2, resulting in no change to the Vox Wah Intensity Knob behaviour.
Either way I'm not too fussed as I'm using the SV-1 primarily as a Acoustic Piano/String machine, but it would be nice to know that everything is working as it should.
Regards,
David Smyth

Hey Bodom,
grats on the SV1.
A lot of the PreFX / Amp sims / etc., have different settings assigned to the knob. (So while Speed/Intensity work for Vibrato, that labeling doesn't work for the Wah)
I suggest checking out the editor. You'll see which parameters are tied to the knobs on your SV1, and which ones are hidden within the editor. Just to let you know, I don't recall seeing a speed option for the Auto Wah. I think that knob controls...polarity? I cannot remember. Best of luck! _________________ I have gear - I think.
I just checked,
Yes - it's still there. |
