Hi all.
Here's a photo I took of my City.

http://www.myvirtualworld.ie/deepview/waterford-836tall/index.htm

You can click on the image, drag it, and use the buttons to zoom in and out.

Regards
Sharp.

Outstanding, Sharp. Sorry for the late reply, but I've been out of korgforums for quite a while.

What camera/lens combination you used? Did you notices it have quite a bit of CA on the white details, like the boat ropes and white fences on the lower left? It can be easily corrected in Lightroom.

How many images did you used?

Very nice picture and a great resolution ... actually fun to pan around and zoom in such a big pic.

Would love to know how this is possible???
I thought the new Nikon d800 was a big deal at 6 moix.
Are all digicams gonna be this high res in the future.

Sorry guys.
I've seem to have missed this thread.

A SONY A900 with it's G Series 70-300MM lens.

Yeah, there's some other issues that need to be fixed too. Working with such high resolution images is not so easy. It takes quite a lot of time to process any changes you make. I'm looking at buying a SSD before I go back to fix this image and the other high-res images on my site.

I'm not sure. I've have to check my Studio PC. I think it's upwards of 180 images with a very big overlap so that I can reduce issues with moving objects. I have a few of those issues to still fix in the image too. There's a few people with no upper or lower bodies in the image.

Regards
Sharp.

If you want to go beyond the resolution of your camera, all you need is this program to begin with....

Any camera will do.

If you want to go as big as I'm going then you are going to need a Robot. I'm using the Gigapan Epic Pro. CLICK HERE

There are cheaper models available on their website too.

Have to say that the robot was the best investment I've ever made. It's tons of fun to use and so interesting.

Regards
Sharp.
