I'm using Program A046 Wah E-Piano. If I use the JS-Y (down towards myself) there is a rotary effect. When I release the joystick, the effect stops. The manual says I can lock the effect using SW1 or SW2. I have tried exactly what the manual says, which is:

"While holding the joystick away from yourself, press the SW2 switch. When you press the switch, its LED will light up, and the modulation effect at this point will be maintained.
4. Release the joystick, and play the keyboard.
The modulation will stay the same as it was when SW2 was pressed. Moving the joystick away from yourself will not affect the sound."

This is not working for me. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I figured it out. I had to assign a function to the SW1 switch in the Basic Controls page. Thanks anyways!

Astroud,

I'm almost positive that you're missing the mode select for that controller that is specific to the Rotary Speaker IFX, and which does pretty much exactly what you want -- without tying up Switch 2.

The rotary speaker effect should let you have either the momentary/continuous control you have now (FX only when the JS is pushed) or a "toggled" switch that would give you FX on the first push down, then take it away on the next.

Incidentally this is the usual default mode for the up push -- first push adds Leslie, second takes it away.

I have it working now, but a toggle switch would be much more convenient rather than having to push the joystick and hit a switch for continuous Leslie.

What I really wanted was to write a combination using the Wah E-Piano program that has the Leslie effect saved without having to push any button or JS.

Thanks for the info!
