|
|
Hello,
I want to play Light my fire from the Doors at our school, and there is a Korg TR (I believe it is). I want to have a nice fitting organ sound for this, and I believe the Doors always used the Vox Continental, or maybe Farfisa or G101 organ.
The problem is that I don't really have much time to spend working with the Korg, and I don't know how to get a nice Light my Fire organ. Can someone maybe help me with some directions so that I can get a good start at finding the sound. I have some time available to work with it a bit at school.
Thanks in advance! |

Sorry for late reply. If your TR still has its factory sounds, I believe there is a default Vox sound in the combi bank. Just hit the category button, go to the organ sounds and scroll the scroll wheel til you find it. Not sure if its up to par for what you want, but just thought I would mention it. _________________ regards,

| Thanks for replying. I found the voice you mean. Do you know how to make some simple modifications to it? Maybe an equalizer (I have a crappy monitor), or some other things to tweak the sound on a simple level, like smoothen or sharpen it? Just very simple adjustments. |
