|
|
| Is there a scaling function in the Kronos that can tame the upper octaves of the ep patches? The upper octave and a half or so are pretty loud and shrill. I can use EQ or the filters, but that will affect the entire range and I like the sound the way it is. My old S90 has a scaling function that affects the balance of the full range, either louder lower octaves and softer upper octaves, or vice versa. |

Details will depend on which voice model is in use, but these parts of the manuals may be helpful:
Operation Guide -> Playing and editing Programs -> Using Filters -> Modulating the filters -> Keyboard Track
Parameter Guide -> Program mode: HD-1 -> Program P3: Filter -> 3–2: Filter1 Modulation -> 3–2a: Keyboard Track (similar pages in AL-1, STR-1, MOD-7)
Parameter Guide -> Program mode: HD-1 -> Program P4: Amp/EQ -> 4–2: Amp1 Modulation -> 4–2a: Keyboard Track (similar pages in AL-1, STR-1, MOD-7)
Parameter Guide -> Program mode: HD-1 -> Program P6: AMS Mixer/Common Key Track-> 6–9: Common Keyboard Track
Parameter Guide -> Program mode: EXi -> EXi Program P5: Modulation -> 5–3: Common Keyboard Track
Parameter Guide -> PolysixEX -> Program P4: Main -> 4-1c: VCF -> KBD TRACK
Parameter Guide -> MOD-7 -> Program P5: Oscillators -> 5–4: VPM Osc1 -> 5–4d: Keyboard Track
Hope this helps,

| Dan, thank you so much for that detailed response. Keyboard track makes sense. I'm really loving my K73 and this wonderful forum. |
