|

I own a MS2000. I have both Mac & PC. I am using an M-Audio MIDISPORT 2x2 Anniversary Edition. I successfully backed up all of my banks using MS2000 Librarian for the Mac. I can audition, backup/restore an individual patch, and backup all 128 patches using the PROG midi dump with the mac.
My problem is using MS2K Patch Buddy for Windows. I can successfully backup a single patch and create a syx file using PROG1. But if I try to use "Get All" or use the PROG midi dump, it does not say "Done" and no file is created. It says "Processing" on the MS2K, the midi interface appears to be receiving data, and "Get All" & "Get Current" grey out, but after it is done processing, all I see is "Cancel".
I can definitely receive syx data because I can backup individual patches, but I cannot create a syx file using PROG midi dump or "Get All". I am running Win7Pro 64bit. I updated the MS2K from version 03 to 07 with the same MIDI interface, computer & operation system. So I can send/receive information with MIDI. The patch randomizer works fine too. But for whatever reason, I cannot backup all my patches into a single syx. Any ideas? |

| Looks like I found a work around for this problem. By setting MIDI Clock to "External" in Global settings, it successfully completes the transfer. For some reason, a MIDI Clock setting of "Auto" or "Internal" causes problems |
