Carlg Craig on Modular and analogic synthesizers. He says on 3.10 that he only got rid of digital synths cos they could be substituted by the computer. His studio is full of analogic gear, but he has not one, but TWO ELECTRIBE ESX samplers!!!

Ya I've known Carl for years. He primarly uses analog gear, and samplers for things nonattainable in analog (sample vocal snippets etc).
