First and foremost, I will admit this was an eBay find and nothing may be possible.
Ok, so I got this O2 today from eBay and, aside from such problems as not being able to be powered via USB as advertised (which is ok), I have this strange problem where my Gateway NV53a laptop running Win7 SP1 (any more info, just ask. I have the spec sticker on my desk 8^) simply cannot see the O2.
The O2 works just fine controlling my MIDI-enabled hardware synths, the knobs and buttons and everything works, even advanced functions, but when I plug it into my computer (using external 9V power, as specified) Windows takes about a second to pop up with a balloon saying this:
"USB Device Not Recognized"
One of the USB deviced attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.
Clicking this brings up the driver info, which, though I installed the proper drivers, still says it's a Microsoft driver and that Windows stopped the device.
This thing can be really powerful, and though I should have just finished out my Nano series with the Kontrol, this was like 12 bucks. Any help would be appreciated!! _________________ Cheers! Yoa
