We can now import to the iKaossilator, but wouldn't it be nice to be able to record samples like the Kaossilator 2 ???? This would be sweet when you have a nice loop going and you want to add a bit of vocals to it........

So, nobody else thinks being able to record samples would be cool? I think it would add a great dimension to the iKaossilator Cool

there are many samplers available everywhere even in small format now.... kinda doesnt make sense to add in a loop/sample recorder function... and reducing the pad surface

I would like to be able to listen to a song I just created. I can download them on my computer with Itunes, but unless I missed something in the FAQ, I just cant find my completed songs in the app (Iphone version).

It is IRONIC that Korg forum's iKaossilator owners are busily programming data to the app when ALL DATA can be lost in an instant. READ MY POST. Comment. Make sure Korg gets this message. THERE IS NO WAY TO BACK UP USER DATA.
I mailed a bilingual Jap/Eng snail mail letter to Korg Japan. This problem needs to be fixed. So why aren't you forum members aware that YOU CAN ONLY BACK UP AUDIO, NOT PROGRAM DATA??
There is a type of program data back up if you post your loop data onto soundclound via the iKaossilator. You can then import SHARED world-wide user loops. But you won't get your own data, because you cannot choose which shared loops to import. Thus Korg is so close to having a BACK UP capability, without even being aware that this functions exits. IF ONLY WE COULD CHOOSE WHICH SHARED LOOPS TO IMPORT THEN WE COULD CHOOSE OUR OWN PERSONAL LOOPS FROM OUR OWN SOUNDCLOUD PAGE. THEN WE COULD USE OUR SOUNDCLOUD ACCOUNT AS OUR BACK UP for iKaossilator.

You can save your recordings to audio copy and paste them into another app to listen to them without leaving your ios device.

Hi Korg,

Ikaossilator is a lot of fun, but it lacks volume control. If you could add 5 sliders at the bottom of the sequencer (where the huge Close button is) that would be grand.

Also an option to turn off the background light wouldn't go a miss. Those lights hide the XY pad's automation because they are the same colour.

Would that be possible?

Your biggest fan.

Oh, and one more thing "button, so that you can click to" breathe "from a busy or serious play sequence, rather than replay mode or delete individual notes you can select the eraser icon, and then click the eraser"delete notes in kaospad, instead of adding them, simple, but very useful!
