One thing that is better than I thought. The 99 file limit seems to just apply to a particular folder. Maybe this should have been obvious. If you create a second data folder (at the same level as DATA00) and call it DATA01, you can load and save loops from this new folder and the file numbers reset to low numbers for this folder.
Better yet, when you turn the KO2 off and on again, it defaults to the newly created folder. The change sticks!
Wish some of this was in the manual. |

One warning: do NOT put a lot of samples in any one folder. The KO2 gets really really really slow when accessing a folder with more than a handful of files. If you put 100 files in a folder and try to load one, you will be waiting a looooong time. If you have too many it actually times out and you cannot access the menu.
Also, if you create a new data folder (like DATA02) the ko2 defaults to ALWAYS saving new files to the folder with the highest number. |
