|
|
I've been trying to use my Mac to send MIDI information to my Kronos, which is connected to the machine using USB. Currently, I am using GarageBand (I know - it doesn't natively output MIDI) coupled with MIDIo (fixes this oversight). The problem is - I don't know how to get the Kronos to actually PLAY anything when the MIDI information is sent. MIDIo doesn't have any directions, and GarageBand is completely devoid of any mention of MIDI output - except that I should buy Logic Pro.
Basically, the breakdown is that I have some MIDI files which contain public domain music (old classical pieces) that I want to render using the Krono's marvelous Grand piano engine, but I can't get the information to it to play it, let alone record it with either GarageBand or the workstation's built in sequencer. |
