|
|
I will preface this request that I am not sure if what I am asking is possible.
BUT...
If what Korg meant by sharing programs as EX libraries using v2.0.2, is actually packaging a set of samples and programs (then installing them onto the Kronos). I would love to know how to do that.
I am trying to wrap my mind around what KORG was talking about with this new feature. Also, how to actually setup an existing sample/program that normally runs in RAM to use virtual RAM instead is also over my head at the moment.
Is there any addendum/update operating guides to do this sort of edits?
Does anyone have an example EX that they have programmed and shared that I can try out?
Thanks for any help on this issue....! _________________ Kronos 2 88, Nord Wave, Nord Lead A1 |

Its actually pretty easy:
As in previous cases you just Save your Set of Sounds, like you always did
except that now the Synth saves 2 Different KSCs, one followed by
_UserBank.KSC after the name you choose. That is the so called EXs,
that can not be loaded into RAM, you select that in AudoLoad in Global as
an AutoLoad EXs, once you do that and you turn the synth off and back on
this Bank is already Loaded by default and its not in RAM anymore, it doesnt
take space there, except few little MBs. Thats in short words, more there is
in the Manual in details.
Hope it Helps. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

Yes...I got it now. Thank so much for that information!
It was all about loading and then re-saving my earlier samples/programs (PCGs and KSCs)
I was scratching my chin trying to wrap my head around how the samples go into Virtual memory versus RAM, especially in the LOAD Method setting in the KSC AutoLoad.
The last puzzle piece is if the KSC is a USERBank and the Load Method is KSC Settings, then since it is UserBank KSC, that prompts the Kronos to load it into VIRTUAL Memory... (correct?)
