in september I want to install second SSD.
I've 2 questions:
1) If I put my sounds in the second SSD (not the system SSD), I can stream them???
2) Can I put, as second SSD, an SSD bigger than 128Gb???

What is the largest capacity SSD the Kronos will support? _________________ "To me the synthesizer was always a source of new sounds that musicians could use to expand the range of possibilities for making music."

thought I'd post here rathern than clutter forum with another.
I've just bought a kronos 61 new and I know there is a promotion at the moment (in the UK at least) to install a second hard-drive (32gb) and the extra 1gb of ram (i.e. to match the Kronos X) for £99. This must be installed by Korg at their service centre.
My question is...how hard is it to intsall a new one and the ram? I mean, the problem is I think I will lose my warranty if I do it myself but equally having a second drive with only 32gb doesn't seem that great now that samples can be streamed from disk...I wonder whether i'm worth biting the bullet and installing myself but I'm worried how hard it is?
Thanks

Can't you have the techo's install a larger drive and pay a bit extra and be safe?

Good idea, i'll try and find out - that would be probably the most expensive but equally the safest way of maintaining my warranty! |
