In Disk mode why is it you can only see Bank 1-A to Bank U-F
and not U-G and USER AA to User GG
These are Program Banks _________________ Ohmnisphere

If your looking inside a PCG file, you will only see what's inside the file.
If you select a bank and try load it, you will have to option to load it to any bank, including the higher U-AA - GG banks.

hi sharp
I'm not loading any samples I want to view the user aa to gg banks in disk mode,
the idea is to view the files then copy them to a usb stick and them put them on a pc and use PCG tool to move sample around. _________________ Ohmnisphere

Hello.

Never said you were.

As I said above, if you are use the OPEN button to look inside a PCG file, you will only see the contents of the PCG file.
If it does not contain a AA / GG bank, then you won't see one.

I really don't get what your trying to do here because your mentioning the words “move” “files” and “sample” and none of that really fits in with the concept of PCG Tools.
I take it you have sounds in your KRONOS memory located in the AA – GG banks and you want to reorganise them with PCG Tools.
To do this you must save this data to a PCG file. Once it's saved then and only then can you use the OPEN button to see the AA-GG banks, and only then can you use PCG Tools to reorganise the contents.
This this help because I'm not sure I understand what your trying to do ?
Regards
Sharp. _________________

Hi Sharp
What I'm try to do is use all the spare user banks in programs.
IE in user bank BB only half of it is used
BB 1-64 used 65- 127 spare so I could copy some more samples to the spare bank 65-127.
But I need to use PCG tools to do this.
So I need to get files from my Kronos to PC
Hence Question Bank BB can't be seen in Disk mode _________________ Ohmnisphere

All banks within a PCG can be seen. If you're not seeing some of the banks when browsing into a PCG, then the PCG doesn't contain them. _________________ Dan Phillips

So as I understand I have to turn all the samples on my kronos into pcg
and I gather this will be hidden deep in the kronos manual somewhere

The last time you asked a question via PM, I answered with a detailed response for which you thanked me. That response was quoted verbatim from a section of the manuals whose title was directly related to your question and which was listed in the table of contents. Not very hidden, as it turned out. _________________ Dan Phillips
