|
|
Hi all.
Here's a guide on how to convert a VST into a SF2 for use on your KRONOS, using Extreme Sample Converter.
CLICK TO DOWNLOAD
This covers how to automate the process too, so while there are 26 steps to all this, once you setup the automation, it becomes a few clicks to convert a VST sound into a SF2 for the KRONOS.
Regards
Sharp.

Guys... hang on a moment.
I typed this up over few days and it seems I made a mistake and repeated one part twice.
Give me a few moments and I'll read through all this again and repost it
Regards

OK...done.
Sorry about that.
The link is good again. The correct version has 26 steps, not 30.
Regards

FLStudio can convert VSTs to samples using their sample called Direct Wave. And the results can be exported I'm sure. Been quite a few years since I used it.
I just had a quick look again and I believe its quite straightforward.
Its included with the very lowest price FLStudio too. Under $100. _________________ http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=forum&id=1251 |

Very useful, and well explained with one of my favorite softsynths.

Excelent Job! I've been playing with ESC last weekend and got some trouble while trying to get a perfect loop point, so this came in handy at the right time. Thanks a lot Sharp! _________________ Kronos 88 / Kawai K4r / Yamaha YS-200 / Yamaha RX-V430 |
