I tried to load the last groovpads of ekomusicgroup for pa3x. The pa600 I just bought accepted it but no sounds can hear. Is the samples format of samples for pa600 different of PA series? Is it necessary some conversion? Please let me know, it is very important to me. Thank you

Pa600 & Pa3X PCM sample reproduction machines are almost equivalent so when Pa3X can read a sample
then Pa600 can also read it , the only essential difference is that Pa600 can't read compressed samples
and probably that's your issue !!!

Yes , a Pa3X is needed and somebody to edit all samples , save back every single drum sample without compression
and finally save the whole set.ALL for your Pa600 , this procedure might last too long according to number of drum
samples so it's better to find a friend that owns Pa3X to do it yourself , but don't forget the "If compressed" parameter !

The Pa600 can read it but you need to convert them into songbook files. The Pa600 Manulal reads:

"You can load Pa3X data exactly as if they were Pa600 data, apart
for the Global (GLB) and Voice Processor Presets (VOC) files.
Sounds and Effects can be a bit different. Due to the different
order in memory, Styles must be reassigned to SongBook entries
by using the SongBook Editor software (freely available on
www.korg.com)."

I don't think that songbook can convert compressed samples in uncompressed samples, What I wish is sounds ready for PA600 like groovepad for pa3x
thank you
