What setttings would you adjust to get warmer piano sound on Krome ?
(Exactly what settings, not just "decrease diskant little)
Please do not misunderstand, piano sound is very good.
But I want it more "warm" then >Krome Warm Piano< , something like "little more analog touch" or decrease sharpness little.
Best regards |

You might be able to mellow the sound a bit using the filter roll-off (assigned control) knob on the front panel.
You could, with finer control, make adjustments to the EQ, either Master EQ or using an Insert FX EQ to boost the mid- and low-ranges and reduce the high-end frequencies. This is generally perceived as "body" or "darker" tone.
I'm not sure what you mean by a more "analog" tone -- if that's what you want then don't use the Krome Piano as a starting point, or else mix it with a tone more along those lines. Many analog piano emulations had a longer sustain period than an acoustic normally would, so you might want to make adjustments in the amp section to se if you can duplicate that with the Krome Piano samples.
You might get something like a more vintage/vinyl acoustic piano sound by using compression, mid-range boost and plate reverb (as heard on "Imagine"-John Lennon) but any really signature sound will be due to the application of a different set of effects &/or EQ.
Familiarity with the IFX and what they do to change a sound is essential to both duplicating sounds off record or for making your own.

If you buy a Yamaha, it is(very) debatable as to whether you would get warmer sound(or not). |

Please "yzf125", keep the thread subject, I am not interested in buying a yamaha.
It is not easy to recreate real piano sound in electronic ways, but Krome has come closer then most other keyboards.
The sound "Krome Warm Pinao" is very good, I just want it little more soft (analog/warm) touch to it, it is personal taste only.
More concrete suggestions is welcome.
Best regards |

I made the quote. I apologize. I play the instruments together and I perceive the Yamaha Motif(out of the box) to be more bright and crisp than warm. I felt the urge to respond. Again, I apologize. |
