Quarter tones are used in arabic music. We do use the standard western scales, like minor and major scales, but also some scales that require certain keys to be tuned 50cent below normal tuning. This will cause the scale to have a quarter note in it, instead of the usual whole notes And half notes.
I almost did get the standard version... But too late now as I already placed the order.... The wait continues... ETA June 3rd. |
