|
|
Hi
I'm trying to repair a EX8000 that has a faulty transformer. Everything else
is OK - I can get it working with a bench supply bypassing the transformer.
I tried Korg UK but they dont sell replacments transformers for that model,
just wondering if anyone has a broken EX8000 or knows a good place to
look for spares.
Thanks!

How did this go?
Im in the same boat, although I have a faulty DW8000 as well but that one has a working transformer, Id swap them but the pins used are not the same (althoug model etc is) so sceptical. |

I managed to find an EX8000 that had no front panel and a badly damaged case so swapped some of the parts over to the other one to make a working unit. |
