|
|
Hi all, new here, if someone is watching
I'm saving different combi programs (user slots) to use during a song but I find that changing from one to the other stops the previous. This creates a silence that is very annoying for playing live.
In my old yamaha psr I could changethe program while playing the previous, it got "armed" and when I played the keys I had the new sound ready.
I notice some programs (notably pads) in the MS can do this but not all.
Is there any way to do this smoothly?
Thanks! |

I think this works for Programs, but not Combis. So you can change sounds the way you want, as long as you're changing from a single sound to another single sound (not combis of multiple sounds), i.e. you have to be in Program mode. And since you want them in your User slots, use them wisely, since there are only 32 user Program slots, vs. 128 user Combi slots. Also, you will probably hear a glitch in the old held sound when you invoke the new sound because the fx are resetting for the new sound. Depending on the effects in use on the two sounds, that glitch might be subtle or it might be quite noticeable. |
