|
|
Hi I played a 2 hour set at a local bar with a band yesterday using the pa600 just as a keyboard and on two occasions after fast organ glissando I ended up with notes stuck on that caused some embarrassment and needed a reboot to silence (taking a few minutes)... is this a known issue ? I shan't be able to take it out again live if this persists. _________________ Korg Kronos LS

If it happens again try this ...
Press and hold SHIFT then press START/STOP.
That should immediately release any hung notes with out having to reboot.
Typically what is happening here is there is a missing NOTE OFF event for a previous NOTE ON event.

Gordon, may I ask you which Sound you were using?
And, were you playing with a Style or Song in the background?
Thank you,
Paolo |

I do not know if it will help, but...
on the gig one key physicaly stucked and played also when I released the key on my PA600.
It is possible that note on is not sended after reset (I did not try), check to press one key at turning PA600 ON, if it will play after set up.
If not, it is possible that the key was released when it was pressed again after reboot.

My first 2 pa 600's had the stuck note problem when I would do palm smears with any organ sounds. Also the Joystick failed in both
I have ordered another because I love the sound! Here is a real time improvisation . All rights reserved Brian E. Paulson

It would seem my problem has resolved itself. It always occurred while using jimmy organ sounds and while playing smears or fast passages. Never had much cause to exercise the joystick but it seems to work ok when I have used it. I can't say for sure wether the os update resolved the problem but all is well with the world now thanks to all who contributed to aid my plight .... Much appreciated |

That's great!
I too experienced hung notes with a palm gliss with the original OS. After the update the issue is gone. Thanks Korg! _________________ ”It’s easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.”
