|
|
I have a PA3 and a 600 (which my friend is using). We both have read the operating manuals and found some vague instructions on how to create a Set list similar to the Songbook. Has anyone created a song list that is used when you perform instead of having to refer to the Songbook for each song. Is it possible for example to copy some of the songs from the Songbook into a separate area to use for perfomances. Something like this would certainly lesson the time in between each song during a performance. Thanks. _________________ PA4X & PA900

I think creating Custom Lists in your SongBook is the way to go.
Look in your manual for the details.
You can create different Custom Lists for each gig, as many as you like.
You can name them, sort them, put songs in from the main SongBook, take them out (without deleting them from the main SongBook).
Everything you need to manage your gig-setups is right there at your hands.

Thanks, I've tried the directions in the book, but must be doing something wrong. Just can't seem to save the song in a custom list. Thanks, I'll keep trying. _________________ PA4X & PA900

Did you "Enable List Edit" in the drop down page menu on the LCD screen? (upper right hand corner) _________________ ”It’s easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.”

You probably know as well as I do, when you get to our age, some things come a little slower than usual. I was able to get this figured out on the PA3. Since I loaned my 600 to my friend I'm not sure if the process is the same on the 600. Will try to find out soon. Thanks all. _________________ PA4X & PA900

Same here Chuck, the question is only easy if you know the answers, my manual supplied with keyboard tells me nothing, just found online manual 300+ pages but still hard work, technics had a page on one forum for answers to all the hard to find questions, would be nice if we could have that here in straight easy to understand English. |

Absolutely correct. I think I've just touched the surface on the Custom List process. As I actually start using it is when I'll run into some of the complications. Thanks for your comments. Chuck _________________ PA4X & PA900
