Hi there

I bought a secondhand Zero8 who's Touchpad don't work (Y Problem), but everything else is just fine.

But there is one strange problem:
The Send/Return FX's only sending about 50% to the Master.
There is no way i can make a 100% Wet Effect with EXT1, EXT2 and ZERO FX SEND. It only works when i cue them (Effect Cue's on the right side).

- Of course, every knob is fully turned to the right side
- Tried XLR Out, Jack Out, Booth Out
- Every Input on every channel
- Different FX Units (Kaosspad 3, Boss FX's etc)
- Reset the Mixer
- I have V1.6 and 44.1k as my setting.

OR CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THERE WOULD BE A DRY/WET SETTING WITHIN THE TOUCHPAD CONFIG?

Thank you for every help or input.

zero FX Send, Ext 1, ext 2 are only SEND FX it means unless you route them pre-fader and keep the fader down there will always be the dry signal in the final mix.

FX send are made for reverb, delays, etc.... all FX meant to be blend with the original dry signal.

even if you turn the send pots all the way up, you'll get about 50/50 dry wet which is absolutely normal.

I don't think you can use external FX in insert mode since there is no switch to route it to the desired channel but you can use internal FX called "ZEro FX Channel" (above the crossfader) which let you apply an FX in Insert on the desired channel. (Filter, eq...)

Or if you have an external filter unit, plug it between your source (TT, CD...) and the mixer.

hope it helps

so your saying if I have something like an EFX 1000 plugged into send and return. That it will still have the original signal. Thats so stupid for a dj mixer and pointless....

Hi,

to get a 100% wet effect from EXT1,2 you have to set your sends
to "pre fader" but herefore you need a working touchpad
to open the setup menu. Sad

Best regards
