I read in the Owner's manual p. 20"Use these line-level outputs to send the final stereo mix to an external device. Connect either of them to output the signal in mono."

So, do those of you who have a Bose L1 Compact just connect one cable to either output of the PA900 and the other to the 1/4 inch input on the Bose?

Graham,

You can either combine the signals at the outputs or at he input to the Bose, but in either case, I would combine the signals.

Usually, you can get a proper signal if you take the left output only of the keyboard using a two pole 1/4" plug, but that is not indicated as being so with this keyboard as it is with the Yammies.

I always took both outputs and combined them at the Bose.
Check with Hammer as he has had a lot of experience with the Bose.

Hi Billy, the manual says you can use either output and get the Mono signal, not just the Left.

I emailed Deane and asked him to contribute to this post.

How did you "combine" the outputs at the Bose? It only has one input.

Graham

Actually the Bose has several inputs:

You can input using the two RCA ports and the Bose combines the signal internally for you.

Or - you can use a cable that has two mono 1/4" plugs on one end for the keyboard and a single 1/4" plug on the other end for the Bose.

The second method is the one Deane uses I believe and that gives the best sound as i recall.
