Hey folks,
I'm new to the microstation but I have an idea in my head of how I want to set this thing up to work for me. I want to hook it up to my computer and use the default sounds to make four/eight bar measures to use as loops to create entire songs. Essentially I want to do exactly what the built in sequencer does, but I want to be able to view it on a preferably free computer program so I can more easily drag and drop specific sections to streamline the composing process. If anyone has any links, advice, or videos that could help please let me know! |

You might want to look at Presonus Studio One Free - the lightest version of their DAW software. Doesn't include many bell & whistles, but should be able to accomplish your stated goals.
Also - anybody know if Reaper is still basically "free"? Or has it moved up permanently to paid? _________________ Ric |

REAPER has a free trial version and is still very affordable for a licensed version. I think like $60. |
