I have an MS10 which is making no sound, and when you pick it up you can hear something rattling around. So although I have almost no knowledge in electronics, I thought I'd open it up and see if I can spot something obvious which need screwing back in.
Having unscrewed everything and opened it up, I can see 2 wires which are attached at one end only.
There's a black wire which is connected at one end to the signal out jack. I'm guessing it's mean to be connected to the bottom of the chassis where there's an earth symbol.
There's also a yellow/green wire which is originating where the power cord enters the chassis.
Any help here would be very appreciated. |

Yellow/green is the colour code for ground. So, I would guess that it is the yellow/green wire from the power chord that needs to be attached to the ground symbol on the chassis -- or at least somewhere to the chassis. |
