What has been your experience with Midi till now?
I've tried midi syncing the Beats with a Midi cable from the other equipment Midi Out to Volca's Midi In, and when I push play the Volca beats starts getting a delay... anyone else has this problem? Any ideas?
I tried it with Octatrack and Boss DR.660 till now.... |

Mines is fine, I've had the beats/keys/bass all synced up to Ableton, Reason and also to an old Roland SP606 as the master.
Have you updated your beats' firmware to the latest version? |

It's a known issue for sure. I read some reports over at gearslutz.com & my volca beats displayed some latency when driven from an electribe esx1.
Funny thing, when i used the volcas midi out to sync with external gear there was no issue in that direction. _________________ My current Korg gear. MS20 Mini... & now the .... Oh, maybe not !

I had similar when using mpc 500 as master, this only happens sometimes, I noticed it happened sometimes when the first noise from the sampler is not bang on the first beat, not sure tho, not very knowledgeable on midi etc, however when the samples are bang on the first beat, like a kick or whatever it is spot on, LOL when it happens I have just shunted the Vbeats on one, ear adjusts accordingly! |
