Hello,

I am looking for a reference or tutorials or books about how to achieve some simple "effects" in music. For example how to add space to a sound, how to create certain atmospheres, if filters need to be used, ... which ones ... etc.
I am sorry if I dont use the good technical words for what I mean, as I am a total newbie.

Thanks for your help,
Cheers

MacProVideo.com is one of the best technical resource websites out there in my opinion.

Soundonsound.com contains archives of all their excellent articles on anything audio.

My biggest suggestion though would be to pick up the textbook Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio.

Good luck

Soundonsound.com also has articles that regularly get emailed to whoever wants them. They're free too!
