I have tried to download the patches this guy made for the king korg from his youtube link but, It just opens a text document, Am I doing something wrong?

right clic on the "download icon" on the page you accessed from the youtube video link. then choose save as. it worked for me

ok thanks, so .kklib is king korg format? I just ordered one, it is being delivered shortly, how do you transfer these? I was expecting sysex files

You open them in the editor I presume.

That's pretty standard for a lot of synths these days for patches to be exchanged in their native formats rather than sysex dumps.

This is great, as I'm just learning (re-learning) synthesis and trying to create a few things. I hope an editor is available someday and more vendors offer specific sounds. I'll pay!
