Apparently you can, but I can't figure it out. How would I assign user control 4, to something like the drive of a selected track. I don't understand how the dial gets attached to the parameter I choose.anyone? Korg Krome 73.

It's the other way around for Korg. The parameter gets attached to the dial you choose Wink
In the page where you have your drive effect (IFX), find the actual drive parameter (or, if you prefer, the dry/wet parameter). There should be a space next to it labeled AMS. Here you can enter "rt knob #x" and specify how much it should plus or minus the base value to the left. Be advised that assigning the knob this way does NOT undo any previous assignments for the knob, e.g. if it also controls reverb depth you will have to find it in the reverb parameters and disable it there.
